Mathematics in Biology—the AI age

I am a student at St Hughs College, studying for a DPhil in the department of Physics. I am funded by St Hugh's Smith-Westlake scholarship. My DPhil is in quantum information/foundations, however I am generally interested in complexity science and emergence, and how tools from mathematics such as graph theory can be useful in this respect.
