The power of the Immune Clock—how the circadian rhythm affects our immune system
Waywen Loh discusses the daily cycle of our immune system and how this can be exploited during vaccination.
I'm part of St. Peter's College, currently studying MSc in Integrated Immunology in the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences. I (occasionally) play Kendo with the university. Externally, I'm part of the Malaysian Bioscience Scholars and manage a podcast called "Research Insider", which promotes bioscience research to the wider public. I'm passionate about immunology and its therapeutic potential in diseases, especially in cancer immunology and vaccine development, and I think science communication is crucial to share my passion with the wider public!
