This term (HT18) Bang! Science Magazine is relaunching with a new name: The Oxford Scientist. We decided that the magazine should not only celebrate science, but also pay tribute to all our amazing contributors – writers, artists, editors – and many of the scientists whose work features in our pages, who all call this world famous university their home. We’re still committed to producing a termly, “graphically gorgeous”, magazine, accompanied by a (new!) website, and entirely produced by Oxford Students.
You may have noticed that not all the content from our old website, www.bangscience.org, has made it across to this new one. We decided that we’d like a fresh start and consistent article styles for our new magazine, and whilst our old website served us well, it also had articles from all the way back in 2007 on it. However, the old site is still accessible so you can still read all your favourite articles from the time before iPhones and Game of Thrones.
If you have a subscription to our magazine, wrote an article for the Bang! website, or are advertising with us, and are confused how the rebrand will affect you, don’t hesitate to contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
